Assign Licenses
On this page, you will learn how to assign licenses for your organization.
1. Go to Microsoft 365 Admin Center
Access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center where licenses are managed.
2. Navigate to License Assignment
Find and click on a Matrix Planner plan, to start to assign the licenses.
3. Assign Licenses
Click on "Assign licenses" to begin assigning licenses to users.
Important
When using Power BI Desktop and if you have a license for the visual but it indicates that you don't, close the report and reopen it. And on Power BI Service if you encounter license issues, simply refresh the page.
Notes
Keep in mind that the license assignment process may take some time, and it could be a few hours before the assigned licenses are fully activated for users.
